This trip is an experience where you will arrive at the Ahyirensu Naturalist Centre after a 2-hour drive up the Akuapim Range near Aburi. You will learn about cocoa, pineapple and other vegetation in this area. You may make your own pineapple juice or eat raw cocoa. This farm is ecologically advanced, only organic farming techniques are used. A portion of your fee will go to support the training of young Ghanaians in agricultural techniques.

You may even plant a tree and leave your heart in Ghana . Lunch is rice and chicken served outside on the farm. This is an outing, wear appropriate shoes and clothing; a hat is recommended. Price includes a modest lunch, drinks and tour of this Centre.

This is an overnight tour that starts at 10 a.m. After a beautiful 3-hour ride to Ho, you will be met at "Chance's Hotel, Pool and Garden". Check into your modern hotel room.

Your choice that afternoon is to visit the Kente Cloth Artisan centre or visit the beautiful Wli Waterfalls, the highest in Ghana . The evening is a relaxed dinner in the garden or restaurant.

A visit to the Monkey Sanctuary starts at 5 a.m. the next morning. You will see rare species of monkeys that descend the trees to be with you. Sail the Volta River
One day on the fresh, calm waters of the estuary, where the Volta River meets the Gulf of Guinea , stopping at the villages along the lake. A walk along the river to socialize with the villages is an option. We return to Accra the same day.

Coastal sailing

Two overnights. Leave your hotel at 2 p.m. and arrive in Ada at 4 p.m. for a pleasant swim or relaxing evening at the Hotel. Next morning, enjoy an exciting day's fishing in some of the best Marlin waters in the world. This is sport fishing - the Marlin will be returned to the sea unless prior arrangements are made. Lunch and drinks included on boat. Spend anpther evening at the Hotel and return to Accra the next morning.

This is an overnight tour. You will leave in the afternoon at 2 p.m. for the drive to Takoradi where you will check into your hotel. Dinner is at Captain Hook's, specializing in gourmet sea-food, steaks and pizza.

The next morning is an early bird day as you rise at 6 a.m. to take the boat out to the Whale watching areas for a full day's whale watching. You will return around 1 p.m. to Takoradi port and Captain Hook's. You will have time to wash up and take the ride back to Accra arriving at your hotel in the early evening.
